Chemical

Q: I’m not as blonde as I want to be.
A: Becoming blonde is a process. Getting to your desired level of blonde may take multiple sessions. We try our very best to get you there as fast as possible, but ensuring you have healthy hair is our priority. We are always happy to book you in for a consultation to explain how we will get you to your desired results, both time and cost wise.

Q: What is a Sombre?
A: This is our signature Ombre to create a sun kissed look.

Q: What is a Unicorn?
A: This is our signature Grace Hill blonding placement. We use highlights, balayage, and foliage to get you to your desired blonde.

Q: What is a Balayage?
A: It’s a type of highlight that uses a hand painted technique to achieve an ombre. It’s great for creating subtle change.

Bookings

Q: Is it okay if I see a different stylist at your salon?
A: Yes, absolutely! We work as a team to make sure all your hair needs are met. All of our stylists have access to your formulas so you’re in good hands no matter who you see. Everyone is under the guidance of our senior stylists Somboun and Amra.

Q: I’d like to get in with my stylist but they are fully booked. Who should I book with instead?
A: All of our Grace Hill Stylists are trained under Somboun and can accomplish any of your requests. Feel free to check out our stylists’ bios or head to our Instagram @gracehill_salon to see who you would click with best!

Q: I don’t see the available date and time for my service online. What should I do?
A: Please give us a call at the salon and we will try our best to accommodate you. We are able to make better adjustments on the booking program on our end. (204) 615-0605

Q: Should I shampoo right before my colour service?
A: No, you don’t need to unless you have any grey coverage sprays or powders on your roots.

Q: How do I know how much I will be charged?
A: We have a base price depending on who you see for what service. The base price is dependant on the time needed and cost of the products used. We try our very best to estimate, but it depends on the hair.

Extensions

Q: What type of hair extensions do you offer?
A: We offer Great Lengths Hair Extensions and Babe Hair Extensions.

Q: Do hair extensions damage my natural hair?
A: Yes, they can if proper maintenance and care is not performed with them.
